If you are staying onsite at Breezy Point there is no additional program fee to register with MNCEG. If you are not staying onsite at Breezy Point the program fee to register for the conference is $50.  \nStep 2.) Book your housing and meals directly with Breezy Point.  You can select the full conference package\, or pick your rooms and meals a la carte to fit your arrival and departure schedule. Fill out this form and mail or email to groups@breezypointresort.com. \nImportant Reminders & Health Guidance:By attending this event\, you agree to voluntarily assume all risk related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree to not hold MNCEG or any of their affiliates including partners\, sponsors\, director\, officer\, employees\, agents\, contractors\, volunteers\, or sponsored venues liable for illness.   \nFAQQ. Sure\, many attendees do travel with a spouse and bring them to the social events and banquet dinner. There is a spouse meal package on the Breezy Point form and many activities at Breezy Point if your spouse is not also a conference attendee. \nQ. What if I don’t know which meals I will need to order yet. Can I buy meal tickets onsite at Breezy?A. Do your best to order meals in advance so we have accurate numbers\, but if you need to add a ticket onsite you may do so at the Breezy Registration desk.  \nQ. Can retired members attend? A. Yes! Retired members are always welcome. Some retired members come for the full conference and some just come for the banquet on Thursday evening. SUMMARY:Boiler Exam and Review Session September 7th
DESCRIPTION:The MNCEG Conference at Breezy Point will be a testing site for all levels of Boiler Licensing Exams on the afternoon of Wednesday\, September 7th\, \nWe will offer two review courses from 8am-Noon on Wednesday\, September 7th: \n8:00 am – 12:00 pm: Special Engineer Boiler Operator License Review\, in the Pelican Room8:00 am – 12:00 pm: Review Course for all Boiler License classes (high and low pressure) above the Special Engineer Level\, in Heartland 1&2 Room.12:00 – 1:00 pm: Lunch Break\, A box lunch will be provided for those taking the review classes.1:00 – 3:30 pm: Exam – All license levels will test in the Pelican Room \nSpecial Engineer Boiler Operator License Review Details:This review sessions is specifically for the Special Engineer Level Exam.  The Guild will provide a Safe Operator Boiler Fundamentals book for MNCEG members taking the Special Engineer exam\, compliments of the Steve and Pat Udell Scholarship. This training is open to all MNCEG Members\, and there is no fee payable to the MNCEG for this training if you are a member.   \nNon-members may register for the course for $25 and they are responsible for their own study materials.  \nReview Course for all Boiler License classes (high and low pressure) above the Special Engineer Level:This review course is applicable to all license classes\, except for the Special Engineer Level. All participants are responsible for their own study materials.  The review course is free for MNCEG members and $25 for non-members. \nBoiler Exam Information:All boiler license exam levels will be available for testing. You will need to complete the Individual Boiler Engineer License Examination Application through the Department of Labor and Industry for all level exams. \nYou will need to pay the state examination application fee of $50\, payable to the MN Department of Labor & Industry. \nOnce you pass the exam\, the State will send you a second invoice for your license fee. \nHere’s what you need to do to sign up for the training and/or exam: \n\nEmail us at info@mnceg.org with the following information:  Name\, Organization/Facility\, Level Exam you are taking\, and if you are taking the training class.\n\nIf you are taking the Special Engineers Test\, tell us (info@mnceg.org) where you want the training book mailed.  Tell us ASAP so that we can get you the book before the review course!\n\n\nComplete the Individual Boiler Engineer License Examination Application through the Department of Labor & Industry https://secure.doli.state.mn.us/license/initialapp.aspx\n\nImportant:  You must apply with the state prior to attending—we will not be accepting applications on site.
